I have finally stopped the insane squeaking from the rear of my car!
It turns out it the rear brake cable had worn through the plastic sheathing as it passed through a metal eyelet for support. When ever I had my car up on jacks, the wheel would hang down low enough for the worn spot to be pulled away and I could never find that squeak. I thought it might be a suspension bushing, or broken spring. Nope, just some worn off plastic. A simple fix, I cut some plastic and placed it between the eyelet & cable, and the squeak is GONE! Happy days are here again.
